Start with this teaching practice
The English corner, the French salon, the Japanese exchange meeting and the Korean study group have run here for years. They are not about producing the right answer; they are about whether people are willing to speak, and whether they can hear a view that is not their own.

What happens
Common formats include themed discussion, book sharing, film discussion, board-game conversation and online check-ins.

How to take part
Times, themes and sign-up details are posted in the news section; you can also call or email about what is coming up. Most activities are open to enrolled learners of the language concerned.
Language leaves the textbook and becomes usable through exchange, collaboration and cultural experience.
