How a class is designed
Explanation, demonstration, practice, feedback and reuse form the basic classroom cycle, so that a lesson is never all input and no output.

How progress is judged
Assessment looks at the process and at overall performance, and may use spoken tasks, short writing, project work and stage tests.
Eleven years of courses, teaching research and learner support make the center what it is today.
